Where: We will meet at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park and slowly walk and birdwatch our way to Kelsey Trail Preserve
Join Topher Stephens for a fun and casual birding walk from Founders Park to Kelsey Trail in Highlands! Spring migration is ramping up and we'll try to spot some of our year-round resident birds as well as some freshly arrived migrants.
No experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome. Loaner binoculars are available.
Hike: Around 1.5 miles round trip, considered easy to moderate.
What to Bring: Water, comfortable hiking shoes, a rain jacket and curiosity! Optional: binoculars and birding field guide
